I’m Shirin, and I’m thrilled to be the Market Director for The Mom Market York Region!

A little about me: I’m a nurse by trade, having spent many years in bedside care before transitioning into pharmaceutical patient support and, more recently, data sales. I also hold an MBA, which has given me a solid foundation in both business and healthcare. Outside of my career, I’m a proud small business owner with a deep passion for giving back to the community through charitable initiatives.

This year, my focus is on achieving a healthy work-life balance that prioritizes happiness while making a meaningful impact on my community.

When I’m not working, I’m a huge sports enthusiast—you can find me playing volleyball, boxing, or catching the latest football game. I also love exploring the GTA, trying out new restaurants, and discovering hidden gems. My experience as a board member for a non-profit in the rare disease sector has fueled my love for event planning and creating impactful, community-centered experiences.

I live in the suburbs with my husband, two cats, and a dog, and I’m always on the lookout for ways to bring more joy and purpose into my life and the lives of those around me.
