The Mom Market was founded in 2019 and was started as an outlet to allow those in the Small Shop community to grow and promote their Small Businesses. Over the years the Collective has grown to support Small Businesses of all kinds and is proud to be able to bring The Mom Market experience to many provinces.
The Mom Market strives to support Small Businesses of all kinds from Makers to Service Providers to Bakers and everything in between! We showcase a large variety of Small Businesses for you to explore and shop from at our Pop-Up Markets all while supporting the local economies of the almost 30 locations we service coast to coast. We also work with many family-owned and local venues to bring you the best of everything Local! You can find us popping up from as far West as Vancouver Island all the way to Nova Scotia on the East Coast! There is something for everyone at our Markets!
WHY SUPPORT LOCAL?
These are just a few reasons ... there are countless more! We can't wait to meet you at a Market soon!
I like the time and commitment our TMM directors put into their social pages to promote the small businesses, the urgency in their response to our inquiries, and their overall support for us on the day of. Our first experience with Helen was awesome! She was available for questions we had leading up to and on the day of. Similarly, we had the chance to work with both Meaghan and Tania. Both were incredible with directing two locations at once all the while ensuring all vendors were supported - ie. attention to display details by the front entrance, driving traffic by engaging guests throughout the mall.
I like the variety of options available to shop from. I have been a vendor with The Mom Market for over 2 years now and my experience has always been nothing short of amazing. The hosts are always friendly and supportive. Thank you! Keep up the great work; amazing opportunity for small businesses anywhere!
I always enjoy the positive attitudes that The Mom Market directors always bring to every market! There’s always hiccups when you’re managing so many vendors and I think their quick thinking and positivity always helps smooth things out. I also like how markets are organized without too many duplicate categories. It’s helpful to vendors and shoppers. The directors always seem to take their time to talk to each and every vendor. If I ever need a bathroom break or need to grab a snack, I can always rely on the directors to help out - which is great since I work my markets solo.
