I grew up in southern Ontario, but moved to Alberta in 2008, where I met my husband and started my career at a bank. I landed a transfer to the Okanagan through the bank in 2013 and I will never look back. I always championed community giving campaigns through the bank because of my passion to give back. While on maternity leave I decided banking was not for me any longer. I quit the bank and started volunteering my time at Mamas for Mamas. Through Mamas for Mamas I got to know more about the Mom market and understand how much they give back to the community not only through donations, but by supporting local small businesses. I am beyond thrilled to bring together two of my passions: event planning and helping the community. When I’m not at markets or helping at Mamas for Mamas, you can find me hiking trails with my dogs and baby in tow, crafting, or indulging in true crime documentaries.
